Tried the mod you recommended.
He done an amazing piece of work with the look of the cars and how they handled. Fair enough he's had a heck of a lot longer than Rockstar to get it right, but fair play to him none the less.
Sadly though he's destroyed the look of, Claude, entirely. Due to Claude never speaking, he needs to have a certain look about him. The Rockstar default Claude had this in the way he never really had much of an expression, just more of a dead/focused stare. The new Claude doesn't have this. He looks like his answer to every question is 'Eh?... Duh?'. Also his body proportions are out of whack.
When I first saw the new Claude I thought what the heck is wrong with his arms ? They are too thin for the body he has. The arms are the thickness of what they would be without the coat, so a 1mm on either side of the sleeve might make it look better. The head... Personally I would get rid of it... I have uninstalled the game because of how stupid he looks and thats one more mod in whole bunch that has f*cked me off with GTA. But thats just me, I just don't think the look of a dumb as f*ck teenager deserves to be the main character or a GTA game.
Anyway like I said this thread can be locked or done away with. Decided to buy a new 360 on Monday. No more mods to f*ck the games up or have half arsed jobs. Just the default hard work that Rockstar put in and intended the way the game should be played.
Cheers though mate for taking the time to post the link. Many thanks.

Cheers though mate for taking the time to post the link. Many thanks. | Rockstar also had a whole team of 3D modelers to do the job so I think doing all of this by himself is very impressive. If it's the new Claude bugging you, try installing the mod and then replacing the new Claude files with the original ones, I can't see why that wouldn't work. I also don't use mods as I like having the games I play look the way they were supposed to. But why are you getting a new 360 to play it? You could just play the original unmodded game on PC?

Its the spec of my new PC. Basically I sold my 360 and games to put towards a computer so that I could get online and find a new job easier. I knew about PC's needing all sorts of technical junk to play modern games, but I was more than willing to play anything pre-2009. The guy at the store said they have a great PC for what I'm after and its on a promotion. I made sure to ask if it could play the games from at least 2009-10, as the sale template mentioned its the ideal PC for HD gaming or just getting your office work done.
Here is my PC spec....
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU Intel Pentium @ 2.70GHz 30 °C Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology RAM 4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 532MHz (7-7-7-20) Motherboard Acer Aspire X1930 (CPU 1) 32 °C Graphics S220HQL (1920x1080@60Hz) Intel HD Graphics Family Hard Drives 932GB Western Digital WDC WD10EARX-22N0YB0 (SATA) 36 °C Optical Drives ATAPI DVD A DH16ABSH Audio Realtek High Definition Audio
Anyway I was playing GTAIII as normal and then had a quick go of Vice City, but it was San Andreas I really wanted to play... and with mods. So there I was adding cars after learning how to use IMG 2.0, until the game started to lag and processing the map became difficult to do. So I made a post and it turned out that whilst my PC can play the default game fine, modders actually went beyond the original spec and started putting lots of detail into cars which would require me to have a much stronger PC.
So After 2 days trying to build the perfect car list for a game set in 1992, it all come crashing down... *sigh... this f*cking computer let me down on gaming yet again... even on a game about 8-9 years old* So I decided now that I....
Do you know what mate it don't matter. Your up to speed. Anyway the reason I want to get a 360 is because my PC won't be able to touch GTAIV, and secondly modding is so over hyped. Most of it seems to be buggy as hell, or you need to spend more money to use mods for a game which the default developers settings didn't require you to do. So as a console gamer your alway told 'you should come to PC, the modders really expand the games', and I suppose they do, but they also accept playing with really buggy mods and I don't see the enjoyment in that.
Console gaming, you get what your pay for, and for around 5 years your guaranteed that every game released will work on your system perfectly without the need to spend money on new gadgets. You put a game in and it works, no hassle, no need to look in files or anything. Just insert disc and play great games.
On Monday it will probably cost me £200 to buy a new 360 and a copy of GTA IV. How much do you think it would have to cost to get a system to run GTA IV smoothly on its default Rockstar settings? I bet its a lot more. My PC with monitor cost £420 I think... or maybe a bit more, and I can't even most games that were on PS2 lol.
