Would you say this game is underrated, not respect, etc? I do. I think it is a little under valued. You?

Game is underrated, that is a fact, people are expecting too much from psp game, imo Rockstar did awesome job they made game that is one of the best for psp. Even though it's not my favourite GTA I would say it's one of my favourite games, I even plan to buy new psp just to play LCS and VCS tounge.gif .

I've been playing it recently I am continuing tonight. I like Toni as a protagonist he kinda reminds me of Tommy V which is cool. I like the game although not as great as San Andreas

Wish I had a PSP, or a PS2, to play both VCS and LCS. Both I'll enjoy very much. Of course VCS would be better for me, but I think R* did everything to make LC feel even better, as it was pretty blend in III. Also you can run around with pants only, like in SA!

I don't recall the game having such an outfit. tounge.gif

Anyways, I agree, LC's atmosphere was much better at Liberty City Stories. I think LCS was more enjoyable than VCS for me.

It was a good game, but could never really get into it. Has nothing to do with PSP constraints. It just felt "flat". I liked VCS more to be honest.

Probably is too late to buy a PSP/PS2 but I have LCS,VCS and CW for Vita,
and for me is a pleasure to play these games in Vita with better textures, improved graphics and higher screen resolution.

Honestly,by the current price and the lack of AAA games, the console donīt worth it.
Maybe if Rockstar decides to make a GTA or a RDR for vita......

Very under-rated. I wish people could understand the PSPs limitations, and for a PSP, this is a VERY worthy game.

I don't think it's forgotten. It's just that it's a PSP-PS2 game and there isn't anything to keep it going after the years. You can mod III-VC-SA on the PC and expand their lifetime but LCS and VCS are just console games with no multiplayer.

I still play LCS and VCS on my PSP. Great GTAs and Rockstar did a wonderfull job creating 2 classic GTAs for the PSP. The only bad thing was the framerate on VCS on the PSP at some points.
Rockstar did this on the PSP! Can't wait to see what they can do on the PSVita!!!

Liberty City didn't feel the same, although it was the first successful mobile GTA that set the prescient for VCS and CTW so there is that. Remember GTA 2 and Advance for GBC/A sucked dick, but you know Liberty City Stories didn't. That's good enough.

It's underrated, even though it's one of the best G.T.A.s for me.

Honestly, I loved the compact approach they had with everything. LCS fully embraced the fact it's a smaller version of a bigger game, which made it charming and cute.

Obtaining quirky vehicles like the Manchez, Avenger, a yellow faggio and of course, the Maverick, was a lot of fun. Then there's the ability to add your own music! One thing I liked to do was get to level 9 in the car salesmen missions, trigger the snow, then play a bunch of christmas songs. It was lovely.

I enjoy LCS as much as any other GTA from its era. VCS was great too, but it doesn't have that special something that LCS holds.

GTA VCS seemed more worked and was much more shiny. It also had more cutscenes, better soundtrack and was double in content and activities. The bad thing in both games, especially in VCS, was the framerate.
I loved them both! LCS for it's storyline and VCS for it's content.

That's the thing, VCS tried to be a PS2 game but that only showed off its limitations. The frame rate in VCS is way worse than LCS.

Nonetheless, I like them both equally. What VCS lacks certainly makes up for in content.

And since I saw the PSVita in action, I can't wait to see what Rockstar will do with this really capable hadled console after GTA V. A Vice City game will be awesome, or a Vice City Stories remake with GTA IV graphics.

It is underrated, there's even topics on here suggesting that it's "The worst game of the III era". LCS was
amazing, Toni was a great protag, and it felt like a real mafia game, which was a first in the GTA series where
you were directly involved in mob business.

Sal was great, got a lot more insight on his character, and Vincenzo was a piece of sh*t, but I got to kill him.. over, and over agian. LCS was the game I enjoyed most out of any of the GTA's.

LCS is definetly underrated. Personally, I love the game. Not the best in the series, but's it's great.

No, it isn't forgotten or underrated, but R* had the very brilliant idea to make LCS (as VCS) exclusively for PS2 and PSP... sarcasm.gif
