Alright, so I tried installing DKT70's Road Textures today. However, it's behaving weird, as in: in some parts, there are still default road textures, and sometimes there are seams too (the texture not going fluently).
My GTA IV is 1.0.7.0 STEAM Version. Is this causing it? (extra textures added in 1.0.4.0->1.0.7.0 maybe?) Or did I just not install it properly somehow?

In case it's really not possible to have this road texture pack on 1.0.7.0, what others are recommended?
(Oh also, if I just didn't install it properly, could I have a new download link again? I couldn't find a straight download link to it, I just grabbed the gtxd.img file from a different mod that included it.)

I kind of noticed the same thing too. Some of the LOD textures are still default it seems, so when you're looking at the road ahead it looks weird.

Sorry for a pretty late bump, but I don't mind the road looking weird in the distance, I can live with that; but what I actually mean is that certain spots in the road still have the default texture instead of DKT70's texture.
I realize I may explain this oddly so I decided to take some screenies:

Now it may be easier to understand my issue and some may be able to help with it, I guess I'm doing something wrong because I don't exactly think it's normal for the textures to be like this.
Again, I am using 1.0.7.0, could this be the issue?

the "problem" is, DKT makes only the gtxd.img for public

and not ALL road textures are in this GTXD.for this reason, there are still vanilla roads remaining (you have no proplem and nothing wrong)

Oh, alright. So is there any other good road texture pack anyone recommends? I tried 'DKT70 road textures edited by fonia5' but it was way too grainy for me.

when I try to download that one, mediafire starts bullsh*tting about me being unable to download part 1.
Could you please reupload? Also, does this fix these vanilla textures everywhere or only Manhattan?

That one only changes the textures in Manhattan.

The "problem" is DKT70 dropped all his work for some problems with some people and this textures are unfinished.
Anyways, I think even unfinished keep been the best road textures (at least for my tastes) because are the most natural and realistics.

I agree, been using them for 6-7 months, but I'll admit I haven't tried Neophyte's.
