If we have a desert, Area 69 may make a return, But the inside of the place sucked. there were no mysteries to pursue or anything, Just empty hallways....... and There should have been military stationed on the dirt roads leading to area 69 too. Now that we are playing with new graphics and engine, what are the chances of a more realistic military and Restricted Area?

If Rockstar includes Area 69, boy is running around inside of it going to be a riot. Also, since Rockstar likes to create myths (ghost cars and such in San Andreas), some sort of a easteregg having to do with aliens or UFOs would be great.

This brings a huge possibility then, probably will not be Area 69 but some other one since if I remember correctly Area 69 wasn't in Southern L.A .. it was in Las Venturas or something in San Andreas

The only thing I really wish for with an Area 69, is that it be accessible for more than 1 mission...

The way it was with GTA IV would be ok with me. Only available for one mission in SP, but available in MP to visit again.

I hated it in SA, not only because of it only being open once (without jetpack glitch), but that there were a couple cool things in it, which wouldn't be accessible again. I don't know anywhere else in the game has a minigun, other than cheats, and the Tug that spawned in there was cool, though it couldn't be driven far...

If this game had another incarnation of Area 51, it will certainly be larger, allowing for more exploration and MP fun, as I'm sure it will be tailored a bit for that.

I would love if it had an runway tunnel, with an opening a few hundred feet in front, and an opening in the ceiling, similar to the one in SA with the jetpack. But instead of a jetpack, it will be a bay that spawns a Hydra, and you have the choice of vertical or horizontal takeoff.

I'd love to see an area 51 comeback and hope the game is not only based on LA would like to see the citys nearby add to that the f**** JETPACK as vehicule and a flying saucer.....

They could even spoof Bob Lazar who was a scientist that blow the whistle on the army's secret base...I dont want the game to become star wars just a easteregg will do

if they had an Area 51 replica, they wouldn't spoof Bob Lazar, he worked at S-4 which was apparently a few miles from the base.

Yeah he worked there but was bring to area 51 by the army offical to study aliens spacecraft technology and he allegedly seen flying saucers in one of the hangars and entered in the UFO

only at a certain time though, I think if they do reference him, the most we will get will be the workers walking around in blacked out goggles being escorted by the military, bumping into things. nothing really huge though.

area 69 was around las venturas, so i don't think that it will make a return.
