I loved Toni! His Mafia loyalty was pretty neat. Seeing him rise through the ranks, etc.

To be honest the only thing I really like about Liberty City stories was the empire system storyline, as in rising up through the ranks of the mafia and becoming a made man.

I didn't like Toni, he was an ass-kisser to Sal and in my opinion was more of a pussy than CJ (although San Andreas is my favourite GTA dislike CJ).

So no, I don't like Toni. They had so much potential to make him awesome like he was in GTA III, in fact he was one of my favourite characters in III but just didn't cut it in Liberty City Stories.

I have to disagree with you there. I don't know why, but i liked Toni in LCS, but not in III. Also, CJ was way more of a pussy than Toni IMO, but i still don't really like CJ all that much (at least, until he gets to SF and starts growing some balls)

It was good choice to make him protagonist for GTA III prequel, but I liked him in III much more...Also I don't think he was "pussy" as many people think. I loved that mafia theme turn.gif .

Toni may have been an ass kisser, but a pussy? He has the second highest kill count in the GTA series.

Second highest kill count? Cool.

I thought he was a quite good GTA protagonist. It was nice to play as a Mafia member and see some characters from GTA III which was my favourite GTA game long ago.

Yes, I liked Toni. I agree that he was an ass-kisser, but that's what what Mafia guys do to their bosses isn't it? And his mother was harassing him very much, saying that Giovanni Casa is a better man than him, saying that he isn't her son because he sucks, etc.

And which one is the first?

Niko Bellic, with 50 (not counting optional murders).

A full list of them can be found here. smile.gif

Yes, I did liked Toni. Quite "badass" and sh*t... and the way he conquered Salvatore's trustiness and loyalty was quite nice, while making his way up through the "family", becoming a Made Man and all that stuff.

Great post. It's pretty awesome to see a protagonist from the III era not take over the entire city virtually on his own.

Besides his annoying mother, Toni was such a bad ass character. Working his way up and the trouble the Leone family went through. Such a down to earth game with a down to earth protagonist.

He's a nice character. One of those mafia type persons I like to play in videogames. Of course, he's nothing compared to Tommy Vercetti.
The bad thing in LCS is that they didn't use Michael Madsen as Tony again. His voice actor did a good job but Madsens voice is irreplaceable!

He didn't take no sh*t, unless it was from his boss and his mother. Then he'd do something so that they wouldn't have a reason to give him sh*t anymore. So should be the way of life, really.

Yeah he was an alright guy. Knowing how he'd become three years later though... Kinda sours down the feeling.
