Yes I'm back to annoy you Nazi's. I believe these games have a bad trend of getting older and more asinine. Much like myself... I say things that aren't very "popular". At least I can come to terms with it. The Fans of the So-Called "4 Era" generation GTA's cannot seem to come out of the trance in which they are stuck in. In regards to the whole over-haul of the Liberty City blueprint. (Map) This is all fine. But dont tell me that game is better than the originals because of some graphics. Madden 13 changed its engine like a 180 degree turn...and its worse than ever!

The fact is, GTA III was a game made in 1999, GTA IV was made in 2008. If they had just stuck with the same old game, nothing would ever innovate. Whether you like it or not, games change, new engines are made, and stories are told differently.

Would you prefer we never invented TV so that we wouldn't have to see the actors faces, so that our imagination wouldn't be clouded by what they look like? That's basically what you are requesting here.

Indeed. I play a game because I want it to feel like a game. I.E. the Re-relase of CounterStrike. The controlling is almost identical. But It's all about making money now. Of course they will cater to the demand of fans to the Franchise and continue to grow with the industry. In my opinion they should let it be. (III)

By "made" I assume you mean released? GTA III came out in 2001.

I can agree that IV sucked but that was Rockstar's first next-gen game. They completely eradicated all these problems in Red Dead Redemption, which to this day is still one of the best current gen games. They've also got advanced shooting mechanics/physics from Max Payne 3 so we can expect GTA V to live up to its expectations.

It's funny you should say that as nostalgia is clouding your judgement and nothing can beat nostalgia. Vice City to me already beat GTA 3 is every area and San Andreas came a good second. I'm not a big fan of IV as it was a step back naturally but it did improve on the graphics and detail of past GTA games. Due to this I would say it surpassed GTA 3 but not Vice City or San Andreas. Nothing was missing in GTA IV that 3 had. I'm quite sure with V R* will do nothing but improve the game as it's proved in the screens. Last gen GTA games will always be great and hold a place in my heart but to say V will suck without any valid reasons seems nothing but nostalgia talking to me.

Yes you are correct. However they started making it right after GTA2 came out in 1999. Maybe I should have been consistent with the date for GTA IV too, but I didn't know when they started making it. (Be it right after SA or after Table Tennis.)
