So after 2405 and Game Informer's October cover, we need something else to wait for

The next big thing is theNintendo Event of the 13th September in New York where Wii u prices will probably be announced and maybe something else.

Maybe Nintendo was asking Rockstar to release the game also for Wii u, but the didn't had an agreement before the announcement trailer so they didn't announce the platforms.
Then R* choosed not to show GTA V for 8 months and Nintendo couldn't drop the bomb.


In the past R* developed two minor titles for GBA and DS and they have developed two exclusive(temporary) gta games for a new hardware: the psp. Also they announced GTA IV one year in advance because of the dlc eclusivity with Microsoft.

Prepare to be disappointed.

What if Nintendo payed a ton of money to have the port?

Nintendo is desperately trying to get attention from hardcore gamers. Maybe they will announce GTAV for wii u that will be available later in the future or will be delayed in the following weeks.
Wii u should be similar enough to 360 and less difficult than porting a game on ps3 4-5 years ago.
Microsoft made a big deal just having two temporary exclusive dlcs at the dawn of this gen.

@spider: It doesn't mean the will neve port an hardcore game to the wii u. Of course T2 is not planning to release other hardcore games to the wii u because probably it's going to be a failure, but if Nintendo pays...

yeah but it's not though. dat game informer thing is gonna happen, but dat wii thing is not.
