Yeah, I think we should just play Minecraft or MTA. Odds are if we started a milestone mission pack, we wouldn't complete it, as it is with multi-designer projects on these forums.

So yeah, I have tested xMatix's server, and it works, it's pretty easy to use even it's in Polish, he's downloading some new map, I'll check that out tomorrow.

Now on topic, I think we should do both, making a mp is gonna be the main thing, if you have time, get on the server and play with others. If you agree, what mission pack should it be and who should lead it?

You're right. If we do both, is more fair.

Just a question, what are those "mirrors" mentioned in the SA:MP website?

I don't have SA:MP, and there's three mirrors, I don't know what to download.

Mirror links are different site but you can download the same file at any of them, there usually are mirror link in case the main one have been broken. So feel free to click on any link you like.

I usually use littlewhitey, always works. Anyway, even though its DYOM, it doesn't mean it must be something related to it. As some of the people said already, a mission-pack, a multi-designer mission pack would most likely end up unfinished. I have both SA-MP and MTA but I like SA-MP more, I only have MTA for mapping. Minecraft doesn't work for me + Minecraft though is good, its not related to DYOM nor SA nor GTA so I can't see the connection. I vote for SA-MP and agree with Ghost. Relax and Play.

I'm not able to play SA-MP or MTA, because it lags like hell. And I don't want to play MC. And I think a lot of DYOM users have the same problem...

That's why we're gonna do both, SAMP (for anyone who can play) and a mp.
Btw, here's my idea, not story though: So the idea is, for examble, I design a misson, you'll play as me and my skin in that mission, so if Dutchy design a mission, we'll play as her in that mission,etc.
So all the character will be the members here.

But that's just my opinion, we also need a story and someone who can lead this project.

I tried to make something like this two times, Ghost. But with no success (I'm lazy). Though, only I designed missions and before making it I asked people here for names in MP (even not DYOM members). I chose skins myself.

It's a good idea anyway, if someone responsible will make it, it can become awesome.

It's weird if the others calls me lee_atsugai in game... I actually wanted the name "Zhao", but it still makes sense if the others calls me "Lee" in game...
