That's genius actually, never thought of it like that. Having a "Storyline" menu at the beginning where you can choose the storyline to follow would be way better than characters just switching in-game. | I definitely see Rockstar going for this approach too, not character switching ingame, that's going to take you out of the experience. It however depends on how many multiple protagonists there are in the game, if there are multiple, but it sure seems that way.

I'll go with this at the moment with at the most three protagonists. Some of there missions will intertwine much like EFLC with the three leaf clover mission. I'd love to be able to play from a cops prospective in one of these stories. Maybe EFLC was testing grounds for this to work? I'd also like each story to have a good amount of missions that way everyone is happy. I don't want to be forced to switch characters as in my opinion in brakes immersion, character progression takes a hit and you may end up playing as someone you don't care about. It's very much possible multiple protagonists will happen either way.

It's very much possible multiple protagonists will happen either way. | Let's say there are indeed three protagonists. And they can manage to give all three protagonists their own storyline, a full campaign. So three full length campaigns. That would make it the very best GTA V ever (unless they screw up some features, won;t happen though). You'd have 10000% your money's worth. Would explain why they won't be going for big scale DLC neither anymore. I truly hope this is the case though, multiple protagonists sounds very interesting and if they all get their own campaigns with a reasonable length, doesn't nessecarily have to be GTA IV length..i'm good with that. A perspective from a cop would be really interesting yeah, but i don't know if you can consider it GTA then. In GTA we've always been a criminal. Unless this is a cop who gets corrupt and dirty very quickly
