I am in a very disturbing problem. I use SAAT and replace sounds by using the Command Prompt method. I have only replaced car sounds now, but after some time of gameplay, all sorts of weird sounds plays when I use the horn, when CJ screams after falling from a height, and even sometimes when I reverse a vehicle.I am sure there are other people who might face the same problem...

My PC Specs - From "dxdiag":-
Intel Pentium 4 Processor - 2.80GHz
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 - 128 MB
DirectX 9.0c
Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) SP2

Can someone please tell me what to do? Because these weird sounds are getting very, very disturbing.

You must replace your sounds with a same length as the original sound. If your sound it's a bit longer/shorter, you'll face many bugs (like your in this case). Use Audacity to edit your sounds.

Thanks for the replies! I think I should reinstall my game and use Audacity and afterwards, I hope everything will be fine. smile.gif

Also make sure that the sample rate of the new sounds is the same as the original (check sfx_import.ini to see what the originals were, most are 22050Hz).

If the new sampling rates are higher, any bugs might be able to be fixed by lowering the sampling rates of other sounds to compensate.
