can i run gta iv on my pc.i have nvidia geforce fx 5200.and window xp service pack 2.....1.5 gb ram and intel r 3.00ghz processor.can i run it?

Not at all. I don't think the game would actually open. You'll need a new build if you want to play IV.

have a $500 budget? You can run on high with this build.

yojo, would a pentium bottleneck that GPU?!?!?!

It's definitely not advisable seeing as nVidia drivers for GeForce 400/500/600 require a powerful CPU, preferably a quad-core, or i3 at least.

toms hardware is driven by advertsising, like any other website
the other poster is correct, for gta iv, tri core or quad core cpu beat dual core at same Ghz, irregardless of ipc cqapability. maybe things have changed with sandy bridge, but i doubt it
i have my x4 975 set to three cores, but at 3.85 Ghz
