what's your hacker related story?
mine happened today in tbogt free roam (where else) and i was in a session of about 19 players typical hacker stuff was happening spawning stuff (we where at the airport and our hacker spawned fuel storage tanks on the runway (not very well they hovered about 7 feet off the ground)) then there was talk about crashing the server on text chat, most of us texted not to do that later in the game i saw a player spawn a metro bus so i told everyone in the game on text chat what i saw and the player's gamertag then the server was crashed (i reported the player i saw spawning a bus) in windows live (pointless but i ant let a cheater win).
i hope in gta 5 rockstar implements punkbuster.

What the hell did you guys expect when you bought the PC version. Theres nothing Rockstar can do for the PC version, even in V they won't be able to stop them. This happens to EVERY game on PC that anyone cares enough about to hack, it's to easy. They try to patch, a few days later someone releases a fix for the patch, they try to ban, they find a way around it.

Thats not true. On GTA IV PC there are Ranked and Player matches, in Player cheaters can do what they want, every possible kind of cheat, Ranked since latest patches is well protected from them, only possible kind of cheat are script mods which works only if cheater is host + simple god mode and no reloading easy to avoid. R* knows how script mods works but they have no more updates for IV so it will be patched in V for sure + if they will keep ranked cheat protects it will be pretty impossible to cheat

Lmfao that shows how much you know.. Still can mod in any ranked game, even when there not host, any scripts. The reason you are so blissfully ignorant is because they are private, so dumb sh*t little kids don't get them. But yeah, they are on PC, I don't even play on it and I have the files.

well i've got a new hacker story to tell it happened tonight after i started a new session in free roam i invited one of my windows live friends and i think he invited another to join (im not sure) and we went to the arena and while me and the other player where driving there another player joined (i didnt think much about that at the time) when we arrived at the arena we started doing a destruction derby when all of a sudden explosions started so i typed on text chat for the hacker (to get the f*ck out of here) then the hacker crashed the server (both me and my friend reported him (i know its pointless))

Whatever you say, even if im not expert Im still the best in it, when I say to host that he has to kick someone becouse he cheat than every responsible player listen to me becouse he knows if he wont his server is gonna get crashed. I know people who created main cheats for GTA IV PC and people who use them so I think its enough. I played a FM game with my bro on my PS3.
I only play FF on and AA off, so theres no doubt about that.

We were messing around in middle park when a dude came and killed us with clean head shots.
Me and my bro teamed up and set a crossfire RPG stand.

Guess what: We were making direct hits, each time we hit him he got catapulted straight in the air (90dgz) and then he just reappeared in the explosion still walking toward us.
We hit him at least 10 times when he got close to us and game a HS to both of us with a magnum.

We quit the game afterwards, and I posted the story on this forum where people did not believe that cheating is even possible on PS3.

The vast majority of "hackers" you encountered aren't really hackers. They're using Simple Native Trainer, which is a tool and not a hack.

I use it too but not on any mode except free mode and party mode. Besides its for the cops most of the time. Hackers are the ones who have aimbot, wallhack etc. Plus if I'm using it, then I put cheats in the server so most players stay away.

On topic: No, I haven't really come across any cheaters on gta 4 mp on PC.

I'm in the game and looking at the minimap and see a blip coming towards me. I thought this guy must be in a car the speed he's coming at me. Turns out the guy had some hack running which allowed him to move at incredible speeds, so I set my capture device going.
