Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong place...

I've tried to use the Trainer files to make the game more enjoyable, but none have work so far.....

Someone had told me that it could be that my SA version isn't v1 and could be v1.1 or v2.

I downloaded a 'san andreas downgrader' to see if that worked and got an error saying something like 'unknown version' so no joy there.

I also tried a fix to manually downgrade by downloading a file that had 3 files which I needed to replace..
/data/scripts/ .....the two files here were replaced...
And the .exe files was replaced....
Again this failed to allow me to use trainer programs...

I'm fairly knowing, when it comes to pc's hardware/software and know my way around the net quite well..

Anyone have any solutions

We don't discuss downgraders installation/use here.
Your game:
You don't know which version you purchased? Version 2 Discs have been available since 2006.
You are playing with the Disc in the Drive?
Your Disc, and Box will have Edition Printed on them, and game menu will say V2 or V1.01 in the lower right corner.
The Official Patch v1.01 would have had to be installed by you so it is unlikely that you have it and not know.

Trainers don't make the game more enjoyable, they allow you to cheat. If you need help with individual missions we have a Mission Help Forum.

Ok, duely noted and no more mention of downgrader stuff....

I looked on the games menu for anything that was a version number, and nothing....

I did remember the game glitching on install and thought i may as well just uninstall and re-install....

Seemed to do the trick, cos now its working.... Thanks for replying to the post though smile.gif
