I was moving some pictures from my iPhone to my computer and used cut/paste on some of them. Then I realized I wanted some of them left on the phone. It didn't seem like there was any way to copy/paste them back into the DCIM folder so I synced the phone with iTunes instead and moved all pictures back into the phone. The problem is that I want them back in the DCIM folder, but when you sync the phone they are imported with a different folder.

Is there any way to import them back into the regular DCIM camera folder? Because regular capy/paste doesn't seem to work at all, nor does syncing.

You posted this like yesterday and I wanna help since no one has posted to help you.
Connect your iPhone's
USB cable into your computer's USB Port. ports. Exit out of iTunes if the program opens.
Now, open the "Start" menu and click "Computer." Double-click the name of the iPhone, then click the "DCIM" folder, which contains photos on the iPhone's Camera Roll. Now, just drag and drop files from your computer into the iPhone's "DCIM" folder.
Hope this helps.

Lol that's what I was trying to explain. I'm not able to paste/drop the files in the DCIM folder. That's the problem.

Does it show any error/failed file transfer?
If yes, it actually means that, you've reached the limit to store files .

Nope I'm just not able to paste anything into that folder for some reason. When I right click the paste option is marked grey and you can't klick on it.

Question: You said when you synced them back with iTunes they were in a different folder. Can you still view the images on your phone?
If so then I don't see the problem. You can still access them on your phone as well as having them backed up on your PC.

Yeah I can view them in the phone. But I don't want them in different folders. I want all of them in the DCIM folder, so that when I'm using the camera and tap "photos" I can see them right away instead of having to look for them in the other folder.
