Alright so I'm kinda new to GTA IV and am trying to mod it to look good. I'm trying to install ICenhancer 2.1 enb but I can't get it to look like how it does in other user screenshots and videos.



I'm using patch 1040, and have an ATI Radeon HD 5670 (For the love of god please don't tell me thats too weak, its not highend but it should be capable) and have also tried reinstalling. The same goes for all the other ENBs I try to install, they just never look as great as they should.

Does anybody happen to know how to fix my GTA IV so it looks f*cking glorious?

I've been trying for 2 days but to no avail.

Please hurry before I die of jealousy and frustration.

Its an Intel i5....but processor shouldn't really affect the way it looks right?

It affects, in the way how fast does the systems work, such as: AI's, some texture loadings (I think they're mostly done by HDD and memory), ragdoll and such.

Anyone with much less than a Core i7 3770K / 8GBs DDR3 1600 / GTX 570 has to cope with jaggies / 2 Quality SSAO / 2 Quality Skylighting / 2 Quality Bloom.

It's only when you raise the resolution the game is running at to at least 1920x1080 with -1 SSAO Filtering Quality that you begin to see the sexy visuals. Usually where screenshots are taken. Actual play at that res with those settings requires a MONSTER PC to have decent FPS.

@Packet my i5-2500k is a beast but yeah i have a 570. Icenhancer takes a lot to perfect so if that's what you're into then upgrade

Yup, yup. My Q9550 OC'd to 3.3Ghz / 4GB's DDR1333 / GTS 450 1GB is good for screens, but actual play and especially recording with FRAPs, is rather choppy - like slideshow choppy with high settings / quality filtering.

hmm.. I'm having a similar problem.. expect mine has an extremely grainy mesh to it.

I've also had this problem. You need to download TimeCycle V5 from Sgt.Kanyo and everything will look shiny!
