Apparently, he was contacted and is now answering questions on reddit, which caused the site to crash a couple of times.

It is official and has been confirmed by Obama's twitter.

He also made some spelling errors and got trolled a couple of times. I personally think this is not an ideal way to 'reach out' to people.
What's your opinion? Smart or a sign of desperation?

Holy sh*t. I hate on reddit all the time, but sometimes I have to throw my hands up and admit something is cool as sh*t.

I'm not terribly sure where I stand on Obama's policies, but he's certainly the coolest motherf*cker you guys could have elected. Obviously he's not exactly going to give candid answers, but still, here's a president engaging with the people.

The things that go on at reddit might make Obama look bad. He's already got most reddit user's (up)votes already anyway.

At least he's making an effort to get involved with modern technology. Unlike the bitter, decrepit Luddites that the right wing seems to fawn over.

It might actually have been him. He only answered about 10 questions. I imagine if it were his team, there'd have been answers to most legitimate questions (i.e. all the ones not about weed, "FREE SPEACH!1!" or Ron Paul 2012) with press release style answers.

It probably was him along with the special assistant for social media or something. He makes posts on twitter and facebook. The ones from him are always signed -BO, the rest are staff. Answering just 10 questions was certainly him.

I was extremely excited when he first posted. Then Reddit crashed for 30 minutes and I couldn't get on. Now I see he only answered 10 questions and then put a donation link in the OP. What a disappointment.
