i've just installed the game and updated it to 1.0.7
and i can't change the cars! i can't find this asi loader for my version! help me please...

if you want to change the cars only you don't need an asi loader

i've managed to change 1 car (the weissmann) - but it crashes with Fatal Error.... now what? :S

i've made backups before... but i really wanna change the cars! :\

i made a quick search on the web and your graphic card from the few images i've seen isn't a gaming card . it's small with a passive radiator it looks like a multimedia card . you should think of upgrading it for something more powerful . nowadays graphic cards aren't expensive , but prefer 1 gig card to 512 Mo ones

hmmm... how important is it to press "rebuild" before saving the modified vehicles.img?
maybe that was my mistake? :S

EDIT: anyway, after replacing some cars they don't really show up in the game....and the trafficmod i found didn't really help....now what? :S

personnally i rebuild each time i make some modifications as i noticed the game was smoother . but if you install manually the cars you need to save then rebuild . your cars won't show up imediatly in traffic as GTA IV loads 4 or 5 cars types each time only . i do not recommend traffic fixes with you GC

so basically it's unlike the other games before where you have cars for specific areas? clever.....lol


one other thing! sorry... after installing some cars (like 911, XKR..) the cars don't behave normally - they...skid...or drift all the time uncontrollably... is that a problem with the data i've replaced or something else?
