The bodyguards in Vice City were stupid and useless. But they were good to have around all the same.

lol yeeap.. getting them only once you got 100% did make them kinda useless.
It was still cool though, cruising around with your body guard.

In GTA IV, i just cruise around with hookers.. they stay in the car for quite a while..

Depends on how famous you are.

If you're already a criminal you would probably be able to protect yourself.

If you own companies or get involved in politics then Yes.

they are already in IV if you killed playboy and raised dwaynes friendship you can call him for backup

Not only should we have Body Guards but once you have reach a cetain status they should be able to drive you around .

Why not. You get more freedom in the game. Maybe people like me like to play with body guards cause it feels like I got the power. Other's don't have to use them. But I hope the AI is more smarter for them.

I would like to use them like Niko did when he called Dwayne, and how Johnny called his backup when he needed them. I found them fun and extremely useful (in gunfights or car chases) they were there to assist, and they could take a lot of damage!

I would say yes, if you are rich and have a mansion. About 5 guards in the mansion.

2 outside, 1 inside, 2 outside your bedroom.

They are quite powerful and will protect you from ANYONE, including cops.
