Saying change to another browser won't solve the entire problem, it could be masking something else.

It seems to be an issue and there is a good fix here. Try what it says in that article and then see if that has corrected your problem, if it hasn't then post back to let us know, just in case it is masking something else.

Then you obviously did something wrong. I've been using Chrome for years now and never had a single issue on any platform. Internet Explorer is a bad joke of a browser and you'd have to be clinically insane to chose it over Firefox or Chrome.

What is your problem? No don't tell me. Just take it somewhere else.
You don't NEED to be putting people down just to keep your ego up.
I didn't choose Chrome, I didn't install Chrome, it was installed by Adobe during an upgrade of thier product.

Oh, it's got nothing to do with my "ego"- it's a well known fact that Internet Explorer, despite it's name, isn't actually that good at exploring the internet. I mean, up until extremely recently it convincingly failed the Acid3 web standards test, which is concerning given that until about two months ago IE was the most used internet browser in the world. It's also got a whole raft of stability and security issues documented, particularly from an information security perspective. Given the voluntary choice between Chrome/Firefox and Internet Explorer and given access to the information there is regarding the browsers, you would have to be clinically insane to pick IE. It's slower, less reliable, less secure and has more compatibility issues than the competition, so exactly why should you chose it?

Seriously, if you have that much of an issue with me stating well-known facts, then please go elsewhere.

Try upgrading to IE 9 and run Windows update to make sure your version of Windows is fully up to date. Then open up Internet Explorer and go to Tools - > Advance Tab - > Reset. You may need to right click on the top of the browser in order to get your menus to show at the top if IE9.

Out of interest if you have any add-ons, toolbars or enhancements installed in Internet Explorer then disable them all, then enable one by one and test it each time to try and eliminate which one may be causing it.

Then open up Media Player and go to Tools -> Options -> Network -> Tick RTSP/UPD, RTSP/TCP, HTTP, Allow the player to receive multicast streams

I had many crash problems with IE when opening a java program, web-applications, etc. I suggest you take the chrome or mozilla route. Chrome seems to use huge amount of memory though sometimes.

Install Adobe Flash, most site requires Adobe Flash to work properly. The weird part is Adobe Flash has problems installing in IE8, upgrade to IE9 and then install Adobe Flash.
