I'm trying to play Episodes From Liberty City (version 1.1.2.0) but even on low settings I get around 8 FPS...I don't get it, my computer is pretty decent and when I used to have an 8800GT the game ran fine.

Here are my specs:

e8400 3GHZ
4 gigs RAM
GTX 560 Ti
XP 64bit

This is what the benchmark came out as:

CPU Usage: 96%
System memory usage: 63%
Video memory usage: 26%

Any suggestions? I've tried variations of all the commandlines but nothing seems to make much difference.

A few tips that increased my performance by a lot. I have almost the same CPU.

1. With that CPU always run shadows off unless you OC the crap out of it. (Increased my FPS by 8)
2. Update video drivers. (Increased my FPS by 8)
3. Add this to commandline.txt in the GTA IV folder...

It can and it does.

Ferago, did you reinstall your OS after the hardware upgrade?

you upgraded your gpu and now you're experiencing problems . are your graphic drivers up to date . try removing the gpu and put it again in its slot . sometimes a bad card position may lead to minor issues . what is your psu power

At the minimum you should uninstall your gpu driver package, possibly use driver cleaner, reboot and then install fresh drivers.

I used driver sweep and reinstalled the video card. No big change though, I can get up to 12 FPS maybe.

try updating as many hardware drivers as you can . your hardware should give you more than 12 fps , this makes me think of a messy driver/conflict .. close internet browser and media player when playing . update your dx libraries
