Hi all,
I am doing an experiment to see how many views a random YouTube video can obtain through Social Networking promotion. If you like this experiment, click the link and feel free to share the video with your friends.

I'd like to hear any feedback you have. Just to note, there are no advertisements placed on this video, and this isn't a trick to try to get popular on YouTube or something. Once the experiment is over the video will be deleted.

Thanks for the replies. I did consider not saying the video was an experiment and just posting it. I figured since the point is to see how many views a video gets by sharing it I could really say anything. Telling the truth seemed to make the most sense, rather than tell people something like "Check it out leaked footage of GTA5".

Otter, I don't think I understand. I can use analytics to observe the success of sharing, but first I have to share it. If I don't share the video it won't get views because it's some random video without a title, description, or tags.

You've created a meta-experiment, it seems you're actually testing how many views your video will get by telling people that you're testing how many views you'll get by telling people that it's a viral media experiment. Start telling people that you're testing how many views you'll get by doing this .

Either that or you're a good spammer.

Funny how you will pick on someones post and then when I point out how UN-hilarious it is, you get all butthurt, harden up woman, stop being a hypocrite.

Who else is going to do it? MURDOC seems to have disappeared lately, and to be honest, I'm enjoying blatant hypocrisy and cry babies being thrust at me, i individually f*ck them and throw them in the gutter.
