Hi. Just wondering if there are any mature gamers whom would like to play this game online, but without the apparent need to declare that you want to do something to someones mother. Still a PC Gamer at heart and a bit sh*te on console controllers, so play for the fun of it. Any newbies like myself want a kick around in whatever mode?

I'd have to guess that I'm probably one of the more 'vintage' gamers on this forum.

In fact, I got my first PC when I was around 30-32 years old.

It was a 'cutting edge' 486mhz (not that 386 'slug') with a 212MB hdd running Windows 3.1.

The 4MB RAM that it came with didn't satisfy me, so I upgraded with another 4MB (for a whopping total of 8MB RAM) .

I was able to get it on sale for the 'bargain basement' price of $200 ($50/1MB).

But yea, I'd be up for some head popping online .

I'm on PS3, and right now I don't have GTA4 (my daughter has it at her house), but I do have LCS (TBOGT and TLAD).

In general I think there are more "maturer" gamers on PS3, Transk than Xbox to be honest.

I would normally point players looking for other players to the gang section, you can try it, but only a handful of guys who are mature and still play GTA are there, even less on Xbox.

I am young(14) but I am a lot more mature than the majority of teens who play the game. I don't insult people because they kill me I dont sing down the mic or any of that sh*t I just play the game to have fun and chill out. If you want to play add me xoThe SilverFox if not no worries man.

26 myself. My first machine was an Escom 80486, or to be less geeky , 486DX2 full fat 100MHz, yay. OC'ed one base unit to 150 odd before it fried. Amazing to think that 8Meg is pretty much leaning towards L3 cache, or is, these days. Amazing really.

I'll keep that in mind for when I kinda remember that Consoles don't have a KB Need to get a bit better with the game.

Yeah will do Got a bit of an issue with my Gold subscription at the mo. will resolve Thursday. Anyway, it is refreshing to hear that a 14 year old does have manners and morals. Not a slight leveled at your generation, but hearing the content of certain minds online, was not that inspiring really. The sacred rule that one does insult one others family, seems to be lacking these days. Anyway, being 41, that just peeves me off. That is just my bugbear

I've been a gamer since I was about 15. I thought Space Invaders and Scramble were the most awesome games when they first came out. Fed those machine many 20c coins. Bought a PS2 in 2003, loved GTA3 and Vice City. Have been online since early 2010.

i too used to have a commodore 64 (mine was a 64c, i loved that computer), my first pc clone was a packard bell it had an intel 8088 cpu and it had two megs of memory (i got it second hand) and i put dos on it.
im 46 years old and i still play video games and i will to the day i die.

Did you two ever venture into overclocking? When using DOS from 5 I think, used to hate it. Now I keep thinking just how useful 6.2 was.

Don't think the iPoo-ed generation would cope with the data cassette load times of the C64.

Ha! It seems we have some things in common. I'm 39 and shall also be a gamer 'til I'm too old and crusty to do so.
I may be wise and mature, but I still think like a kid too. On PSN, people are constantly mistaking me for being a teenager.
And no, it's not because I whinge or anything, it's just because of the way I talk and interact with people.

But anyway, can't say I ever had a Commodore 64, but I was an arcade gamer from about 1981 to the mid 90's.
I finally bought my first console, the Sega Megadrive, and then the N64 - best console ever!

A mate at uni had an N64. We'd play Goldeneye multiplayer for hours on end on a 34cm screen split into 4. Our brains must have taken a beating focusing on such a small area for so long. Used to feel like zombies afterwards.

Don't think I've ever been mistaken for a teenager. Some twat yesterday did mistake me for an idiot though. Sent me a message saying "leave or else hack u account".
