i feel not bad at all. the only reason i say that is because people who suicide only want attention. smh if you want attention go do something creative and not waste your life /:

I don't like to get into these debates because they are not worthy, but I think you have a lot to learn. You don't know the circumstances surrounding people who would do something so final. Ever seen 9/11 footage (jumpers)? Sometimes people go through something so horrific that when weighing their options it seems like the only thing to do. The artist who made the R* logo sadly died the same way. Sad, but it's a part of human behavior, and insulting to those that went through it and their families to say they do it "for attention".

They never had any connection to Tony Scott, nor any of his films.

Not completely true. Did you play MP3? They definitely studied some of his films for that game. I'll be surprised if R* doesn't make a statement.

True, I meant from a GTA standpoint!

Truly sad about Tony Scott but then the argument can be made for everything. Should we take guns out because they kill people? How about cars? Accidents happen in vehicles all the time so should they be removed?

Sad that the man died but just because he is famous is no reason to exclude something from a videogame.

Exactly why i voted for nope.
Perhaps though they shouldn't make a trailer showcasing everything about the bridge.

They'd definitely take it into consideration. Tony Scott was huge inspiration for Max Payne 3. Rockstar openly admitted that.

Better safe than sorry. I doubt we'll be seeing any screenshots with the bridge as the main focus. It'll be subtle, in the background.

@WhitValid;
Are you saying Rockstar remove the bridge from the game? Just to show respect?
That's ridiculous. Just because someone died last night does not mean people will be grieving his death in 5 years.
Sure it's a sad story, and it will impact the film industry greatly, but that doesn't mean that everyone needs to suffer for it.

It was just a really bad joke of mine.

I voted hell no.
It's like kinda um... taking out the cars because someone will die in a vehicular accident today

In fact, we wouldn't even care if you hadn't posted this. Now people know it, and it's more possible that someone says "how dare you put the bridge on the game!" thus making more probable that they delete it.

R.I.P. Tony Scott.
Why did he suicide? I voted before I read it, I think they should avoid it for weeks, I feel awful for voting "Not R*'s Problem".
I loved Top Gun and Beverly Hills cop, despite the fact he is dead, I hope I see Beverly Hills Cop IV, may not be the same, but I hope it will be good enough.

Next what?

A tsunami hits CA coast and they create a dried sea? A kid in a bike is killed in a police chase and they remove the cops and the bikes?

Get some sense, if they were worried about something like that there wouldn't be GTA in the first place, running over people or stealing their cars, murders, weapons it's all wrong ... but it's a freaking game.

And yes I know it's not removing it from the game, but that shouldn't be a problem in screenshots either, if they avoid it no problem but even if they don't I don't see any problem either.

Maybe Rockstar should avoid showing their version Compton and Watts and other hoods in LA since so many people died there, probably tonight even.

All due respect to Tony Scott but f*ck this public mourning outcry that happens in the media and online everytime someone half famous dies. It's fake, insincere and insulting to the family that actually has something to mourn about. Let them mourn in peace and f*ck off, go watch a Disney movie. Half of you probably never heard of the guy before today.

There's being sensitive/respectful to current events. Then there's avoiding everything that ever happens anywhere ever, to anyone, for any reason, on the outside chance someone somewhere takes offense.

General themes of GTA: Theft, murder, sociopathic and psychopathic behaviour.

While I'm sure R* will respect the deceased and his family, there's an extent to which it's reasonable to draw connections between events. A lot of people seem to literally spend the majority of time looking for things to brand as distasteful, offensive or insensitive.

Damn shame. I loved his movies, including Crimson Tide, Top Gun, and Man on Fire.

I don't think he wanted attention. He just didn't want to suffer from brain cancer, and I don't blame him.

His wife already confirmed that he did NOT have brain cancer or any medical condition. All those rumors were completely false.

Either way, sick or not, he was just one of roughly 150,000 people who die each and every single day, and he was no more valuable than the other 149,999 people. So, again, who cares.
