May have just been a coincidence, but possibly.

It's funny. I really started to doubt getting info soon. I was talking to a friend on Steam last night saying info tomorrow and he goes "nope" and I just left it at that thinking nah he is right. Then I wake up and I check the forums; 56 page thread on "R* releases 3 screens".

Honestly, I think so. I always thought 10000 was impossible but there was something in the back of my head saying that something could happen

It started when R* annouced GTA V and released the trailer.

GTA V's marketing started back in November, it looks like they are finally continuing it. It is the first time that they mention when we can expect something next.

To me a 2012 release is still possible if this is the continuation of the marketing campaign.

Rockstar also said that they will talk "forthcoming DLC" in coming weeks or this week..But i'm not sure I found this in the newswire yesterday when Rockstar didn't released the screenshots.

It's a start yes but so was trailer 1 way back when. I don't think it'll go into full force until Max Payne DLC is out of the way(October). I'm still sceptical on a 2012 release and it'll take more than screens to change that but it is not imposable. It all depends what R* do next after these screens.

I think they wouldn't give us 6 screenshots in a week just to leave us for another few months in the dark. On any day the marketing campaign MUST start. I think this day was already reached by July 12nd with the first two screens.

I think there is a summer intern working in the Rockstar marketing department, who is finding these screenshots on developers' shared drives on the Rockstar North intranet, and the intern is putting them out on the GTAV web page as he/she finds them.

We can hope to get more screenshots before the intern has to return to school in a couple of weeks, or until official Rockstar marketing finds out that a rogue intern is subverting their new "GTAV Campaign of Silence" and pulls those pages down.

Until I see more yes. It may be stupid to think May 2013 but hey at least I won't be disappointed.
