It all started wiith Eddy Valdimor Makorov a former russian Spetznaz coming to Liberty City. It all started when the daughter of a russian General in the militarty was kidnapped by the cartel in Mexico. He and his team was deployed there while in Mexico searching and rescuing the daughter someone of a source who worked for the cartel betrayed him and his team. During a drive out in the Mexican desert vally they were ambushed as a reult Eddy's team dead. With Eddy escaping while he escaped and the mission failed because no one would save the daughter Eddy returned to Russia. Only for a short period of time. While there his superiors were mad while they were mad Eddy fled to Liberty City with they russian generals thinking that Eddy have sold his unit out. Now in Liberty it's a whole new ball with rising mafias, streetgangs, cops and etc Eddy must battle his way through a syndicate.
