Well, this is my settings now:

AMD Phenom X4 955 BE 3.20
880G
Gibabyte HD 6870
Cooler Master GX 650
Termaltake V3 BE

And im not able to do so, well, im upgrading to this:

I5 2500k
z77x-ud3h
Gibabyte HD 6870
Cooler Master GX 650
Termaltake V3 BE

That last config will max out IV with ENB and a good frame rate?

GPU might hold you back a little. Depends on the screen resolution.

Which is around $275, right? I think you could get a 7870 with that budget.

You could get an i5 3570k instead, but I think it costs something around $240.

i5-3550 isn't a good value, i5-3470 should cost noticeably less and it will perform similarly. Alternatively, you might consider Xeon E3-1230V2, which is basically a server edition of i7.
Please check before buying any of these CPUs if your motherboard has the required BIOS version to support them.

I'm not sure about that CPU being overclocked to 4 GHz, I think they meant the 3570k. Also as yojo said, you'll need a new motherboard as well.

i5-3550 can be overclocked too, 4GHz seems reasonable enough.

32XX/33XX/34XX/35XX are for LGA1155 socket, 38XX/39XX are for LGA2011 socket. Furthermore, there are no i3/i5s for LGA2011, only i7. wink.gif

i am not going to overclock my cpu. so the i think i5 3550 will work for me. if it does then how long it will perform in future games. if it will perform for 2 years then it is enough for me because i generally upgrade my cpu every 1 year
