Hi I have a question, I have an Asus P8B75-M Motherboard with a 1GB integrated GPU. Along with an Intel Core i3-2100 processor. My GTA IV runs fairly smoothly. However, GTA IV only uses 50-200MB of my VRAM. Why is this? The Integrated GPU is 1GB, but GTA only uses a minimum of 50mb. Help? And sorry if i've misunderstood anything...

The integrated GPU is 1GB of shared memory, not dedicated memory. Could be an Intel HD 3000 with 256MB RAM, which isn't quite good enough to play IV properly. If you want to do so, you should buy a new GPU [based on your budget].

I am able to play GTA IV smoothly most of the time, with about 20-25 FPS (that's normal for me, considering how bad my old Pentium 4 was), by using the -norestrictions and
-nomemrestrict commandlines, but thanks for helping out. I'm looking into saving up for a GeForce GTS 450 biggrin.gif
