This topic won't last long like this one. Though, why to destroy someone's festival. Eid Mubarak to you too. Also, I would suggest you to not reply back to racist. It's really hard to keep it on track.
Dude, you're saying that someone "racist" might come in here and disrupt the thread, a thread about a Muslim holiday which is implying that Muslims are a race of people. Do you see your fundamental error here?
Well good, the sooner he learns the better. There's nothing worse than those people who attempt to profess their "overwhelming tolerance" in ignorant ways, you know, like the guy who brings his new Asian co-worker a gift bag of fortune cookies to show he's culturally diverse or the guy who starts speaking in ebonics when his black friend comes around to show that he's down with the streets.
Well racism doesn't necessarily have to be about a "race", I guess there isn't a widely accepted definition but I wouldn't say it is restricted to race, usually it encompasses things like ethnicity or religion as well. Either way, I don't think the guy is saying that all Muslims are a single race, his point is don't start speaking BS.
Anyways maybe someone can clear this up for me. When you say "eid mubarak" that isn't the name of the actual holiday is it? The holiday is "eid" and mubarak means happy or something, is that right?
