That was decades ago. Now Eid is National holiday (like Ilinden, Cyril & Methodius). And we have all our rights like macedonians

Macedonians no longer have rights in Macedonia. The minority now dictates what happens. Why should Eid be a national holiday in Macedonia?

I'll have to admit, though, I'm legitimately confused regarding the timing of Eid. Does Eid naturally occur with the conclusion of Ramadan? I've got a Turkish friend who was celebrating the end of Ramadan on Thursday, and I always assumed that Eid would fall directly on the last day of Ramadan/first day after Ramadan, not a full three days afterwards.
