Hi guys,

My wedding is a month away, and just heard from my best friend about his attendance. It went something like this - "When is it? Oh the 16th... I think I have a trance concert the night before, or a couple back to back, but I should be able to just try not to get too hammered so I can get up in the morning / What time is it? Oh ok, well I'll say yes for now, but send me an invitation and I'll confirm"

He is notorious for dogging me on EVERY occasion.

I just moved to Sydney last year, and haven't had time to make many friends here, so if you're in Sydney please let me know or PM for facebook add. I really need a new crowd of friends, and I'm learning this as my wedding gets closer and realise how I have 100+ friends on facebook (old high school friends, acquaintances etc) but can barely think of 1 friend to invite to my wedding - and my only real close friend is more concerned about his Trance concert.

PS. I'm saying this on here, because I figure the kind of people on here would be the similar type to enjoy sitting back and play GTA4 with a nice slab of pizza... it would be nice have some friends who even know GTAV exists.

I think Miamivicecity's in Newcastle. Me and Karzy6 are in Melbourne. Piperka's in Perth. Nightwalker is in Adelaide I think.

Congrats on your future marriage mate, and I can sympathise with moving to a new city and having to make friends. Well it was moving countries in fact for me, but I was younger and I guess it's way easier when you're a child lol, so it's not exactly like I was in your exact position. I live in the UK, but good luck man.

I'm moving to UK in 2014 My girl's dad is british, so I think we going to at least try a working holiday, but she'll have a british passport. See you there! lol.

Who needs dogs at a wedding. Just have a small wedding with only you and your bride's family, which means you'll have all that money left over from having a big wedding to spend on whatever you want.

Piperka, yh but if they invite more people then they might just get lucky and be able to start up their own toaster shipping business. And I went to my cousin's wedding a couple months ago and his wife to be must have had about 15 friends there, whilst he only had 2. Don't feel under pressure like you need a load of people there, if worst comes to worst just pay some tramps to come along and pass them off as lovable eccentrics.

Haha, I don't get that it's too young though, by my age most our parents were married and had children... I think we just want to get married and have the wedding before we go on our overseas ventures - otherwise it'd be years off, and with grandparents starting to drop off already since engagement... not really worried.
