I was doing the mission "You've had your chips" or something like that, and I drove over to the warehouse, like normal. The big shootout in the warehouse happened and then the game froze. I tried the mission again. I noticed that the combat shotgun crashes the game. I couldn't find a way around making it so the guy in the mission wouldn't let out a shot, but as soon as I come out of cover he shoots and freezes the game. I cannot find a way around it! An explanation would be helpful, even if you don't have a solution.

Also, the game is UNMODDED and has no patches or anything

Oh crap! Now that I think about it a while ago I used the no-cd crack so in case I lost the disk I'd still be able to play! I'm on version 1.0

It would be difficult to get those molotovs up on the platform where the combat shotgun guy stands

Explain the setup.
Which Version of the game did you buy?
Are you playing with the DVD you used to install the game?
Did you modify the game in any manner?
Toss molotov cocktails around so they burn before they can fire.
You do have a Fireproof CJ?
Use a missile launcher to blast the machines and the gangsters.

It's the crack that messes up the game then. I recommend you re-install the game from the DVD, and keep the crack out until you'll really need it or hopefully not, lose your DVD. If that doesn't work, try removing the gta_sa.set file located in the San Andreas User Files folder.

Use the missile launcher on him.
It's quite effective in gang wars too.
Practice with the cocktails, you'll be suprised at what you can do.
I used them in the Gray's imports and on the bridge against the katana wielding boss. they have a a nice effect through walls, floors, bridge decks, etc.

The crack must go.
