I'm trying to get SA-MP to work, but everytime I load a lobby up it goes to the SA-MP loading screen, after a few seconds it crashes and returns me to the desktop.

Does anyone have a solution for this please?

Did you download the game (V3), as it doesn't work for MP, the servers won't let it on.
Did you buy the V2 Disc, and downgrade it before intalling you Mp mod? (We don't discuss downgrading on these forums.)
If you have s0beit, that will be blocked also.

are your GTA SA have a lot of mod? it will crashes when the GTA SA run with a lot of mods

and the suggestion don't use cleo 3 mods and ragdoll when playing SA:MP

Is your version the V1, V2 or V3 copy?

V3 wont allow it at all.
V2 must be downgraded to work.

Obviously it's not modded and it's a V.1 version.

Hmm... I don't know if I can help but I'm pretty sure you have changed some data files

Reinstall SAMP. If it doesn't work, reinstall SAMP and the game.

It's not obvious or us that you don't have a modded game.
And, the MP is a mod in itself.
Since you have Version One (V1.0) are you playing with the DVD in the Drive?
Or did you 'crack it' (which is another mod)?

Reinstall SA-MP Cause you could be missing a file, and make sure you have GTA SA V1 US/EU
