If you were crusing through los santos, and you stop at the lights, and then theres some gay random guy with a fast car.. on the screen a message would pop up

"Gay pimp wants to race to the next lights for $100, do you want to accept the challenge?" and you could pick yes or no.... i think it would be cool, what do you think guys ?

at last some really valuable idea worth discussion emerges these forums...just about time! and YES! this idea is perfect and needs to be acknowledged by official R* developing team if they didn't acknowledge it already!...

being able to earn quick bucks like that is definitely welcomed! especially at the very beginning of the game, when i suppose we won't have much funds to start with (at least thats what my common sense's telling me...) ...oh damn that's supposed to be "edit" of my original post WTF screwing me like dat...

I like this idea. I made a post a WHILE ago about how I think V needs to have alot more random events.

Store robberies
Police Chases
Street races
Shootouts

Not so much that it happens every 30 seconds but at least once every 2 hours or so

Sounds sorta similar in implementation to the duels in RDR. I like it.

Although it should be kept in a certain area maybe, or only with fast cars, the idea is great, but not if exaggerated to the point where every 2 minutes a prick at the lights wants to race

EDIT: Also have it be like a night thing only for example.

I'm currently playing RDR and the way you described these random races really sounds similar to RDR's random events.

So yes, I want random, as well as normal street races (similar to Brucie's) and I think it's likely to happen due to RDR having so many random events.

Chucking in random events happening like Red Dead Redemption with duel challenges by random pedestrians etc. Random Street races in V? I don't see why not.

Imagine if the event is not what you expected and the guy started shooting you with an Uzi? Just a brainstormed idea..

When I first saw the tittle I thought that you ment you would stop at a red light and the you would just see some random NPCs race on by in super fast cars but I like your idea far better. Hell why not make it an option to raise the stakes so you can get more cash or even a pinkslip race as well if you like their car.

No we can't, and believe me i hate that topic. Does anyone actually read others' suggestions?

But i personally - and this is my opinion, not fact - don't see much discussion in this. Street Races. Vroom vroom, you race. They will appear in the game, and the US 's most common street races are light-to-light ones, no?

But what else is there to say? We can't have a new topic for every suggestion.

It would be a nice idea and add to immersion but it'd be annoying if it happend too much. Every light, you'd have to deal with the message. I liked Midnight Club's system - flash your headlights and the race is on! No messages, no prompts - you're 100% in control. That would be a good way to do it i think.

I'd like to see a few races happen around me too. I went one the motorway last week and 6 super cars (ferrari, audi, 2 porsches and two others i dont know) wizzed past us and into the tunnel, hearing that epic VROOOM noise.

I'd like to see that, maybe with the odd wipeout, or police chase. We shouldnt be the only racers/criminals being chased after all.
