Do you think Rockstar will have a DLC of Vice City for GTA V, like they did with TLAD and TBOGT for GTA IV. Or do you think they will make a new GTA: Vice City stand alone? Just curious. 'Nuff said!

Why do you think they would make another Huge city as a DLC??? Not going to happen.

An entire city as DLC? No thanks. Just new episodes and all. Vice City will probably be in GTA VI.

You've got to realize that Vice City was built using the GTA 3 map. So they could easily do so using the map for GTA V. 'Nuff said!

The HD era is much harder to code for than the III-era. Hence making another city with missions, landmarks and easter eggs would take a lot of time.
Also would R* research and travel all the way to Miami for the sake of a €20-30 DLC?

Yeah, that's pretty much all I was getting at, was what people thought. Whether it should be a stand alone like maybe GTA VI or a DLC. Wasn't trying to get into an argument with anyone over it.

I'm just trying to point out that it could be done. Seeing as how they rearranged the map for GTA 3 to make GTA: Vice City. They didn't even make a new map until San Andreas.

It could be done but as mentioned in my last post it's a lot of work for DLC. Personally I would love it especially if it was on-disc like the EFLC but Ican't see it happening!

No. This would take years. So it wouldn't be worth to make a DLC which comes out in 5 years with outdated graphics and engine. They better make a whole new GTA "VI" with Vice City in. 'Nuff said!

Most likely not Vice City or another city. Grand Theft Auto usully keeps the city of the based game.

They didn't add anything new but cars and weapons in GTA IV dlc, there was no new map. And why would there be a DLC Vice City, it's very slim anything like that will happen unless R* has been working on it for a while. Why even do that. Mine as well not call it dlc and just make it a new GTA.

Do you have any idea how much time/money goes into creating an entire city for GTA? It's not about what we think will happen. It can't happen. They would need years and millions of dollars to create VC on GTA V's level.

They are saving it for next-gen, believe me.

They would have to recreate all of vice city just to add it as DLC to GTA V. That's a whole entire game in and of itself, why make it be an add on to GTA V when you could just wait, and recreate Vice City as a new GTA on its own? That would give them more time for more detail etc etc since its a new game in development rather than just an add on. I don't think we will ever see an entire new city added to GTA as an add on.
