Agreed. I love the first four but since it moved to the US it got worse. Origins tried way to hard to be SH1 and failed and Homecoming tried really really hard to be SH2 and failed hard. I DID like Downpour though so maybe it will get better. I think the formula needs to be shaken up a little, like in SH4 where we don't actually go to Silent Hill. They can't keep repeating the "douche goes to Silent Hill and discovers a dark secret," they've been using since the beginning. If we did get another game as good as SH2, then I'll change my tune.

Hitman too. F*ck you Absolution, Blood Money was a bald headed load of fun and you turned it into a linear shooter. Ditto that Splinter Cell.

Why does everyone say they would kill of all sports franchises in existence? I love sports games and never see why so many people hate the genre. Its not like its annoying like COD is. And there not hurting the market or quality of games by being released every year. If you don't want to buy a new one every year then don't buy a new one every year. Some of the die hard madden fans buy the new one each year but I just get a new madden every 3-4 years a new MLB 2K every 2-3 years and have no problem. These games lose value really quickly so you can get used ones really cheap only a short time after it comes out.

OT: I would probably kill the COD franchise. Its just painful now to see the franchise fall apart after starting out so good. And the fanboy are incredibly annoying. I would also not mind seeing the Halo franchise disappears because I see no reason for it to continue. Multilayer Is crap and the campaigns used to be goos but they have been getting worse.

I'm typing on my phone so that's why I have so many typos. I'm sorry.

Aside from DLCs like shivering isles and a few mobile games for N-Gage and cellphones, Battlespire and Redguard are the two main ones. They're the lost Elder Scrolls. There were also a bunch of Ngage games called Elder Scrolls Travels but they weren't very good.

After giving 3 a chance and then quickly regretting it, I'd have to say this series is hopeless now.

Elder Scrolls Online is not an Elder Scrolls game, sure it shares the title and lore, but everything else is different.

Also I would not end a series just cause I don't like it. Who am I to judge on what people can and can not enjoy? I dislike JRPGs, but I wouldn't end any of them. Just cause you hate something, does not mean it should end. If you hate it, ignore it.

Command & and Conquer: this series was great before EA killed Westwood studios.
Saints Row: Semi-mature game turned into kids game with thousands of DLC'S.
Battlefield: Was good til Battlefield 3 which turned into COD.
Zelda: same sh*t per game.
Angry Birds: sh*t game.

OT: The NFS series has come back alive imo. Hot Pursuit was really amazing, beautiful graphics, amazing cars, and just an overall great looking game. The Run was trash, don't get me started. Amazing graphics but sh*tty engine that shouldn't even be used for a car game. I loved Shift and Shift 2 Unleashed. Those were the games that made me put down Forza.


If I had to end a series, it would be Call of Duty.

Thats the exact reason cod is losing fans. Because each new game is mostly the same recycled content. COD modern warfare 1-3 were all the same games but with new maps. COD MW2 had better graphics then MW3 as well. Whats bad is that, there about to do the same as they did with modern warefare to black ops. there making black ops 2 already and i can see it now. Black ops 3 will be here next year too.
People who buy the COD games are supporting activision in this stupid decision and they need to wake up.
