Hey Community,
I recently thought about how awesome it'd be if we could actually take a flight tour as a PASSENGER of a big plane like the AT-400.
I imagine getting a ride, cuisin' to the Los Santos International Airport, buying a flight ticket an view a scene of the take-off of the plane.
-> Then you are in the plane's interior and walk in it and look out the window, then you'll turn the camera down and finally see the whole, beautiful and awesome map, with all it's citys, natures, little villages with low population and nice big desert landscapes.

After you saw that "eye-gasm", you could make a parachute Jump from the plane, compare to the parachute jumps from just cause 2.

The last mission of BoGt really makes me wish for something like this. Being inside the fuselage of a plane flying over the city felt awesome, even if it was just for a few minutes.

Only if I'm also able to hijack said plane. Though I probably would stay in my seat for one whole flight. Also, it should have a skip option like the taxis do.

By the way, what is that graphics mod in your signature? It looks amazing.

I remember San Andreas had something like that where you could watch the plane as you took it from airport from airport.

I'm pretty sure I always skipped it.

Yeah, in SA you can travel by plane as a passenger.

They'll do it. They did it in San Andreas and did the helicopter rides in GTA IV, and the taxi cabs in GTA IV provided an awesome trip through the city.

Yeah, but there were three airports in SA.

And why not, exactly? It's not like you're hurting real people, it's just a game. Plus, 9/11 was a new york event! And I do believe GTA IV lets you use car bombs, so what's a plane crash or two?

It will be 11 years ago soon.

It's a f*cking game.
GTA buildings are made of pure diamond and don't ever break.

We should never use that as an excuse to not let you do things in aircraft in video games. People have shot people with guns and they've died. Should we not make video games about shooting guns? Should every game be putt-putt's day at the zoo?

For a two minute flight? What's the point. And as for shooting up the plane, how would you get guns on a plane (unless they don't have security because its just a game).

I don't know, Putt-Putt's Day at the Zoo sounds like a pretty fun game.

Great idea. But I think that there will be 1 airport only (and probably some small ones for private usages), so it wouldn't fit for a passenger plane if you know what I mean... but a little flight in a little passenger tourist plane or whatever around Los Santos or around the country side would be nice too. Or having a mansion with a little airport/airstrip somewhere outside Los Santos + a private jet and a own pilot who flies for you would be also cool.

They did it in San Andreas without interior it was good that we could go long distances without driving and if they did make it make sure there is a skip button.

I think it would be interesting if they added some support character that you can call up and do missions for. Maybe if you do enough favors for him you can request for him to land at the nearest airport and take you on a ride in his junky two-man prop plane. To various locations, sort of like Roman's Cab service.
