Grand Theft Auto V
"We have nothing to show right now" perhaps we need to take R* literally?

Before GTA IV was delayed Rockstar announced a game with the name Agent. The game was developed by Rockstar North. That was in 2007 and in 2009 they gave us first info and a release date for October 2009 was announced. But then something went wrong. Either the game is cancelled or it's a PS4 exclusive now. So the earliest possible start of V's developement in my opinion was fall 2009/very early 2010. I just wanted to make this clear. Anyway for the people who said GTA V trailer looked like incompleted: Please show me some incompleted scenes. The trailer is the evidence that GTA V isn't far away. That was 9 months ago so we can say that GTA V is in one of the very latest development stages. Unless there are some heavy developement problems which I doubt because Rockstar already made GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption which were big open-world games.

| QUOTE (CookPassBabtridge @ Wednesday, Aug 15 2012, 20:42) | | Especially after MP3 cost them a ton. | Yeah, 5 years of development, more than 100 million dollar of development costs and sold (at best, because of digitally sales) 3.5 million copies. That's weak and that was probably the reason too why TakeTwo's stock dropped after Max Payne 3's release. By the way Rockstar NORTH hired a thousand game-tester in January. So I would say they're obviously for GTA V.

No, it's they don't want to show everything of their game.
Because it's their f*cking game and they'll show us what they want to.
Stop demanding more information. Whenever I find out too much about a game, I enjoy it less than I feel I should when it comes out.
If I didn't know Max Payne 3 had bullet time, I would've been like, "WHOA sh*t BULLET TIME THAT'S SICK", instead I said, "Oh, that's pretty cool."

| QUOTE (ccrogers15 @ Wednesday, Aug 15 2012, 20:53) | | Its possible, but developers usually only show there trailers if the game looks just like it, or else its False advertising, etc. | Some developers pre-render their trailer. Rockstar is NOT one of them.
