Event special rules
Helicopters are not permitted.
No mirgation to other islands unless Liberty City is chosen as the game area.
No retention of armoured vans on weak or standard weapons
Spectators allowed at Champions discretion.

The Champions can use the Golden SMG avatar. The Title token for HCTMW.



This is a "soft" rules event. Its not even an event its more of a device to give people something to play for on TMW.
There is a "cult" of individuals who like to play TMW with a distinct set of rules.These players are now known as the
"TMW League of Shadows"

These players are truly hardcore TMW fans and Ive known them for the last 3 or 4 years. We play TMW disallow,with standard or weak weapons,Team blips. The use of choppers is frowned apon in this community due to the favoured and infamous drive by dueling that has become the signature of this cult group. What Im doing is giving all players from this cult group a small competitive token to play for rather than just playing each other over and over mixing the teams. Im sure at some point every one of us has had moment when we think I must be the best at this style of play only to get our asses handed to us in the next game. TMW shoobie is not about finding out the best player or players are but giving the players online at any given time a target to shoot for.Its like winning a game of pool in bar to stay king of the table. The idea would be to sign up here then add the roster of players to your PSN friends list. From there you can have a look at this post and find out who the current champions are. From there you find yourself a partner from the roster and post a challenge to the champions that must be answered.If there is more than one team wanting to challenge a queue system will form in first come first serve basis.If a challenge cannot be answered the title is released and any available players can play 2v2 with the winning team becoming the champions.Then it starts all over again and again. The challengers keep challenging and the champions keep defending thier title until all of us get arthritis or GTA V steals our hearts. Its that simple. No worring about players showing up or time zones if the champions cant make it.... tough!!!.... they lose thier title to the next hungry challengers.The champions get to pick island and weapons all other setting remain the same.

Hey Monk, why not make a big event on Team Mafiya work, eg like 4 teams out of 5 people playing with each other, then a final game between 1st and 2nd, and between 3rd and 4th after the group matches are done?

GTAF in 4 years never ever had a single event on Team Mafiya Work, so why not do it now?
I'm sure here can be at least 16 people interested in it(4x4 at least). And you're good at it and have good ideas about it, so you could be the one to start it, people in the GFX area could prove some goo team graphics, and a banner. Something like a Hardcore TMW Tournament or Cup or so.

I know you'd say you cant get 16 people maybe, but they are a minority and f*ck 'em. Still a lot of people play IV nowadays.

I think Monk's intention was for a very casual and relaxed event, without the hassle of organising games and times that suit everyone. Some of the best action in TMW, happens very late at night (01.00GMT!) and this topic would serve as a means of recording the results of 2 vs 2's (hardcore elite games, no noobs).
I could be wrong, and I'm sure Monk will make things clear soon.

I'd just like to add also, it would be difficult - impossible to do a big tournament of TMW, like it was difficult to do a CnC tournament, even Docrikowski struggled to do the Dangerous RPG Turf Wars Cup despite all the D12 support and full support from members of the forum like yourself and others!

I thought of a simple concept to make a TMW event before Gang Wars, it involves mixed, balanced teams and elimination.

TMW : Elimation Tournament

4 Teams - 4 Different Mafias working for Petrovic.

• The Rosso Mafia
  
• The Verde Mafia
  
• The Viola Mafia
  
• The Gialla Mafia
  

Rules and Settings

Every team has a max of 4 players, teams are evenly balanced by myself (I'm fair and will ensure no team is too strong)

Duration : $20 , 000
Weapons : All
Location : Liberty City / Algonquin
Helicopters : Not allowed
Blips : Team

4 Teams compete to reach the target of 20,000. However once the first team reaches: $10,000, the Mafia in last place is eliminated* (leaving 3 to compete), once the score reaches $15,000 , the Mafia in last place is eliminated once more, making the battle for $20,000** 4 vs 4, with two Mafia's remaining.

*They leave the game
** Maybe increased to $25,000

That was my plan, but I needed to give the scores / settings a bit more thought first. Everything settled in the one night of mayhem.

Ok add the players from the League of shadows. Some of them have different psn id than there forums name. Your in. These game can take place any time any day as long as there is players available. So if you add them and there is 4 online get a game going with the rules posted on here.

Your idea is quite good, mine is just slightly different in 1 thing, instead of all in 1 room elimination, it was to make the structure the same as in DTW cup, everyone meet in lobby, team 1 plays team 2, team 3 plays team 4, then next week fixture 2, then fixture 3, once everyone played each other, 1st plays 2nd in final, and 3rd plays 4th in final.

It's just an idea though, and it's up to you guys, but i'd really like to see one such big TMW event before GTA V(who knows, V might come out in 2014 as far as we know lol)

Yeah , all those xbox gangs truely inspired me Anyways I tried DTW- style with the CnC tournament, it worked at first, but then people started not coming...simple one night only, minimum fuss events work best I think

Good to see a lot of enthusiasm for this, who are going to be longest serving champions I wonder? The Starksy and Hutch of TMW? The Batman and Robin of Bohan?

Monk I'm trying to think of ways you could display the results, e.g. The Current Champions / Amount of Wins....that sort of thing.
