GTA Wiki is more comprehensive and contains information that Grand Theft Wiki doesn't, probably due to it being more popular and therefore having more editors. I also find that when the guys behind the Grand Theft Wiki copied all of the info from the GTA Wiki over they copied over some misinformation in the process and never changed it. I think the bullsh*t on the GTA Wiki can be weeded out with a bit of common sense.

At the end of the day the information on every wiki relies on the knowledge and dedication of its contributers so the odds are kind of staked against Grand Theft wiki with the size of their user base. The Red Dead and Max Payne Wikis are operated by forum members who maintain and moderate them pretty well I think in order to have on definitive GTA Wiki there needs to be affiliation and support from this site or another big GTA fansite.

On a side note universtwisters I must also commend you on that Carcer City Wiki - really well done the time and dedication that must have taken is comendable. I really hope that mod works out for you, keep up the good work and dedication.

Never really cared. Never noticed many differences. Liked Wikia's layout better, but it seems it's very inconsistent so after reading this thread I'll move onto Grand Theft Wiki.

GTA. wikia for sure. I love the way they describe features and have pretty intersting articles too. But any site is not 100% accurate.

Lol. Both of those make perfect sense. In the game data the Banshee is classified as a sports car, however when dating Carmen (who likes sports cars) she doesn't like the Banshee

I too can't actually find any sauce on teh interwebz. Interesting... I've definitely heard it being referred to IRL and on TV though. Not sure why it hasn't been documented though.

Where does it specifically state this? "Love Wagon" sounds like a nickname for some hippie/pedophile van. Thats like me calling the mystery machine some private investigator's car.

Read this and this and you will see why. After the community left Wikia and moved to Grand Theft Wiki there were basically two sites that looked the same but as editors do their job on both of them they will gradually become different. Grand Theft Wiki is the official one though and I'm glad I found that out when I first joined Wikia 2 or so years ago.
