NOTICE: I placed this thread in the D&D forum because this is the most relevant forum that allows for the creation of polls. I'm going to Myrtle Beach in a couple of weeks and I felt like gathering data on other's opinions.

Son, we're going to have to sit down and have a looooonnnnnngggg talk.

This seems like it would fit much better in general discussion, don't you think? Especially considering there's nothing to actually debate. You don't need a poll either, it serves no purpose because there are a billion other places omitted.


To answer the question, Hawaii is probably one of the nicest places I've been. The heat is unpleasant, but I love snorkeling and (attempting to) spear fish. The only thing I successfully hunted with a spear was a sea cucumber, everything else was too fast. Some of the hotels on Waikiki beach are amazing too, with nice balconies hundreds of feet up that you can look off of.

There was only a handful of cities I could think of. I didn't think to refer to countries and physical vicinities in the general, non specific form. Also, general chat didn't allow me to create the poll there, so I had to go to D&D.

Also, my poll is not "sh*t". I'm not very savvy about vacation destinations outside the United States or Canada.

What??? No Philadelphia? We just made it into Esquire mag as a city with the best night life. Not sure how we edged out NY, but it had something to do with our restaurants I heard.

I just did a search...turns out we are also one of the top cities for beer(according to esq).

Yes, and it's this very lack of geographical savvy that leads to your poll being pointless. No worries though, I've taken the liberty of removing it for you.

On topic - there is a lot of European cities I'd like to visit. I'd definitely like to see London some day, considering it's one of the older cities in the world.

I love visiting Spain, both the mainland and it's respective islands. I love everything from th lifestyle to the culture to the weather. It also helps that I speak a bit of Spanish so I wouldn't consider myself a dumbstruck tourist when I do visit.

Definitely. Although I haven't left Australia I've been all around it for the Australian Rally Championship. Tropical Queensland is easily my favourite place I went.

Except for Melbourne, which is one million times better than Sydney.

I live near Sydney (From the Newcastle area), but I have to agree. Sydney's nice and all in the city itself, but the only time I ever go there is for a car show or something.

Would never live there.
