There are still plenty of good rappers around, Joey badass being a great upcoming artist (try hard knock), tech n9ne is figs, so is hopsin and bob.
I love snoop and dre, but they aren't really making good stuff anymore, gotta move on and find others.

I have no problem with people who dont like him. Not everybody will. But there is this attirude that he is the end all beat all of bad rap and it simply isnt true. Even if i despise a rapper i will have some type of respect for them if they at least love what they do. Wayne certainly loved being a rapper and never left his fans without new music to listen to. He's been doing it since he was like a teen and even if he didnt write the sh*t himself he still sid what he had to do. Not my favorite rapper but he takes care of business.

Sure, location doesn't matter. But if you were a fan of Tupac, you'd hate Biggie for having him shot the first time. That's what caused the east coast/ west coast hate. As we all know it ultimately ended poorly for both sides. But the split of coasts actually made sense in terms of music style also. Rap isn't the only genre that's sound is defined by the artist's location and up-bringing.

That's fine, as I stated before the "hate" towards the opposing coast didn't stop people from listening to the music. It was more or less a way for people to feel conntected and be 'gangsta' but many rappers who were in the rivalry have said that it was nothing but media hype.

The only difference in the east coast/ west coast music was the actual music. They had their own unique sound and aproach towards production. But there is no reason why somebody can't like both coast's sound, I know I do.

Ok. It seemed like you were saying you didnt like (rapper a) because he did blah blah blah to (rapper b) which would be ridiculous. Anyway i understand a lot of people hate Wayne, i'm not one of those people. I listen to everything from Flogging molly, to daft punk, to lil wayne, to aesop rock and everything inbetween. I will say i dont like someone but i wont say they ruined a genre. If one rapper could ruin rap then rap wasnt sh*t to begin with. Just my two cents.
