At a quick glance you look to have everything that the stats can show you...

In my sig there is a link "click here if stuck at 99% in Vice City"-- it will take you to a post where I listed everything that possibly leave you at 99%-- some of these items you can verify in your stats-- Check your stats against this checklist. The 2nd checklist lists everything that is NOT in your stats and how to check them... (side missions or what not).

All that being said, the most frequently missed thing is the shooting range--- this is NOT in your stats. After you do the "shootist" mission for the malibu, you need to go back to the ammunation downtown and enter the shooting range-- it will have you repeat the first part of the shootist mission-- you must score a 45 on this to unlock fast reload (and this can be quite difficult-- at least with the manual aiming on the PS2 and xbox-- I've read it is easier on PC using the mouse to aim-- doing this as part of the shootist mission does not count... it has to be repeated

This is required for 100% and once again is NOT in your stats.

Yeah i definitely did the shooting range I've now done it twice once before being stuck the second just and got a score of 49. It can't be the shooting range.

Originally i thought it was the Trail by dirt etc cause they had the same scores. I beat them both with faster times but still 99%.

Did you use the checklists I linked to??

The trial by dirt/test track bug will not prevent 100% if you have both times showing in your stats (which you do).



There is also a 100% game inspector code tool-- will tell you what you have left... it is located here....

It is called Ancestral Recall and is located near the bottom of the first post in the above thread.

It will require you to replace 2 of your game files with the ones that have been modified.

When you do this.... backup the original files main.scm and american.gxt--- rename them by putting "original" in front of their current names... then substitute the ones that you download.

You can leave the american.gxt file in place-- your game will work fine with this one.

The ancestral.scm file will need to be renamed main.scm

When you load up your save file it will start scrolling what you have left to get 100%.


If you are uncomfortable doing this-- upload your save file and I will run the code tool on it....

Upload your save file here... http://gtasnp.com/ and then post the link that it gives you after you upload it...

Realize it may take me a day or so to have time to check it.

Not my tool--- Demarest (a former extremely active member here) was a modding machine--- he created that and a bunch of others.... he knew just about everything about the game and the files too.... he did a bunch of work on III and San Andreas too...

I simply rehosted his tools when he took his site down.

I saw you had a time in your stats for the plane race-- does that one allow you to get a time if you don't win??

I was pretty sure it didn't.... Any idea why you wouldn't have been credited for that??

I wonder if that is a stat that doesn't get cleared out in your stats if you start a new game (like in my game on PS2--- highest vigilante level will way 12 on a new game).

I have no idea why it happened. Its strange really i brought the GTA series from the steam sale, i have only played on that save and no others. I had also got first the last time that i had done it also so i have no idea what the cause was. Anyway thankyou for giving me the tool to fix it i appreciate it. Now onto GTA SA!
