Hey,

I want to get me in the near future, the webcam Logitec C920 . This Webcam records 1920x1080 at 30 frames perfectly.

However, on the manufacture website, stand that USB 3.0 is recommend. It should also works with USB 2.0. Do I have get USB 3.0 for recording 1920x1080 at 30 fps (max settings of the cam) because of the higher data rate?

If would be cool if someone knows something and could help me.

PS Please answer only if you want to help me. Other answers will be Ignored!

Worse case you get it and it doesn't record as well. You should be able to find a PCI or PCIE card that will add USB3.0 to your system and that should fix the problem.

The webcam you're looking at isn't USB 3 it's actually USB 2.
According to the specs, it says USB 2.0 (USB 3.0 Ready), what that means is, when you have a system with
only USB 3.0 ports, then you can still use this webcam as USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0

The current USB 3 webcam is this
