I could handle a realistic amount of gore.. but i'd let it depend on the overall tone of the game. If it's a realistic (shocking) amount of gore the game shouldn't push you to commit as much atrocities as possible. That's just tasteless and starts to grate after a while. It worked well in Max Payne 3 because the overall tone was just as gritty and I don't know if I want V to be that gritty. I want to surf.

The same here. I'd like to see dismemberment, but realistic means that you'll also see intestines flying when you blow up a group of people with a powerful bomb, which can become controversial (and also kinda gross). RDR/MP3 level of gore it's ok, R* should just add dismemberment which could be similar to the one we see in GTA III (but with better graphics obviously).

Red Dead and MP3's level was really well done and I think euphorias natural motion with the appropriate amount of blood are far more brutal than dismemberment and gibs flying everywhere.

And to be honest, I've actually cringed at a few kills in MP3 due to how euphoria reacts to characters getting shot in certain places. If you own the game, shoot a character in the neck with a bull or desert eagle or in the torso or face with a shotgun. It's glorious.

Anyways, I've never seen the gore in mp3 or RDR.

I would like it to be similar to gta4, with the little bloodstains where you shot people, but a bit more violent.

If its the effect I'm thinking of, then gladly add in the bullet holes from mp3/RDR.

If there will be dismemberment, make it rare at least, I always laughed when I shot a civilian with a rpg and watched them go flying through the air, or shoot a gas pump and just explode, then the camera would follow nikos flaming corpse. Having them explode into a little pile of blood everytime would get old fast. And as another poster said, I would also like to see the Katana return with beheading.

I would like dismemberment but only with the last shot or shots to a dead body. I kinda like how dead space did their gore. It was gory, very gory. But not annoying and over the top

Not true at all, because R* will just censor for those countries like they've done in the past.

I would like to shoot someone(in game) with a shotgun and their arm fall off. I would like to throw a grenade at someone and watch them blow into pieces. It never made sense to me how all these war games go fo realism but don't incorporate any of this. In C.O.D. or BF, when I throw a grenade, I wanna see arms, heads, and legs go everywhere, damn it! no dismemberment, no knifing, small amount of blood when shot and ragdoll physics. But tonnes of hot women in various states of undress.

It's time for video games to bring back the vibe of those classic 80's comedies, Revenge of the Nerds, Porkies, Joystick, etc. good times indeed

RDR was just fine, not too much, not too little. You can only do so much under an MA rating, and if you try to squeeze it too much, politicians will swarm more than ever.
