Okay, so I create a quick tutorial for some of you who finally got a graphics program. Which this one is made using Photoshop, but GIMP is similar and the same product could be made by following the same guidelines in some aspects. Hope it helps some of you.

Also, not all sigs have to be 500x150, that's just maximum for GTAF, you're more than welcome to make which ever size you may want.

To Narcis; if the image is too large for post.. feel free to edit with just the link or I can resize.

Added to the archive, I see you usually have problems in maintaining the constrain proportions of the images.

Yeah the sig looks swashed to be honest. Try cropping.

Yeah, someone sent me a link for a calculator that generates the new width and height that you can use.. I haven't tried it yet.

Is that what you use or do you just wing it by eye?

Nice simple and quick tutorial!

When resizing photoshop has a little option called 'constrain proportions', you can use that or you can make it by eye, is not that hard.

You can also go to Edit>Free Transform, and hold down Shift when you drag the handles, to keep the same proportions when you resize.
