Hi to all

Im a new member here and i was hoping someone can help me with a huge problem i have with the game.

I recieved this game from someone as it is right now so i have made no changes to the game but im hoping someone here can help me. I got the game with Trainer 6.2 installed. While its fun to play around with the games physics and all that i wish to complete the single player story but certain settings on the game makes it impossible to finish certain missions.

The problems are :
Overpowered weapons:
Machine guns spit out hundreds of rounds a second. I can blow up a car by just pressing the fire button once then the machine gun fires a couple hundred rounds setting the car on fire and eventually it will explode. Certain missions are a pain to complete because the ememy also has this ability to fire once and set my car alight and eventually end the mission before it has even begun.

Luck of the Irish:
While crouched on the rooftop with the sniper, the mission ends suddenly because i disrupted the meeting in the alley while i was overlooking it through my sniper without firing a single round. I have tried many ways to avoid even being near the edge of the rooftop as to get through the mission but it always fails no matter what i do.

Three Leaf Clover:
See Overpowered Weapons, this mission is damn near impossible to complete. The cops have guns that shoot rocket propelled grenades so my posse of bank robbers die instantly the moment they step foot out of the bank.

Is there any way to delete the Trainer completely and play the game as a retail copy (default game with default settings) without the Trainer files. Unfortunately i dont have the original game or files as i recieved it this way with the trainer from a friend.

If anyone can help me that would be awesome.

If anyone can point me to the files that need to be removed to continue my game without the trainer i would appreciate it alot.

I have good knowledge on PC's and just need to be pointed in the right direction to remove the trainer files or reset the game back to its default settings including weapons firing rate and basically the whole shebang.

Just remove:

trainer.asi
trainer.ini
scripthook.dll

from the main directory, and the mod should be uninstalled.

That will remove the trailer but not weapons mods, you should ask for help experienced modders or get a new copy of the game

ask your friend exactly what he modded and restore the files.

Apparently your friend have modded the "weaponinfo.xml" if you have a backup try to restore it,if you don't ask your friend

Just reinstall the game and you should be good to go. Your savefile won't be deleted so you can continue from where you left off.

and make sure to delete trainer files in game directory. that should fix all ur problems
