Realistic story wise? Because other GTA games have missions based on real events. |
Yes but GTA IV doesn't have missions like "go to a highly-guarded military base, kill everyone and steal a jetpack" or "single-handedly steal a tank from an army convoy". |
But the poll isn't which game has the most realistic storyline, it's for the best storyline, and that can involve a lot of fun missions like the aforementioned in the quote. |
There is no best storyline. |
In that case this is a useless poll, as their is no answer. |
Oh my God. The poll asks people for their favorite storyline. |
Dont make a fool of yourself dude. Look at the title of the goddamn f*cking thread dipsh*t. |
I seriously hope you are messing with me because if you're serious that's really sad.
The poll asks for the best storyline. It asks DIFFERENT PEOPLE for their personal best storyline which means, you donkey, their FAVORITE storyline. | Im going to make this much easier for your tiny little mind to comprehend:
>Which GTA had the best storyline? >the best storyline >best storyline >best
You seriously have the comprehension of a 3 year old if you don't know what 'best' means.
| QUOTE (The definition of 'best') | | of the highest quality, excellence, or standing: the best work; the best students. |
| QUOTE (The denifinition of 'favourite') | | most liked; preferred above all others |

When we say best it means the most interesting and meaningful storyline When we say favorite it means the players mostly liked game storyline.

San Andreas is my choice. Nothing like an over-the-top rags to riches story where you truly feel on top!
Carl has casino stakes, a garage, an auto shop, a jetpack, over 30 homes, a mansion, an air strip, leads a dominant gang, is friends with most of the dominant gangs in the SA streets, owns a bit of every city to an extent and more. Such an awesome life!

Speaking of which I've never liked how the Doherty garage never progressed. Wasn't the whole intention to fix the damn place up? Maybe my memory is rusty, but from what I remember cosmetically it didn't change. Other than the 4 Dragons I've always felt the SA assets were sh*t compared to VC. At the end of VC Tommy felt like the f*cking man. Never got that feeling from SA. I mean why would I care about some run down garage, toy shop or abandoned airstrip that looked like it was built during World War II when I could have the hottest night club in town, strip club and a porn studio? IMO the feeling of being on top was a massive step backwards in SA. Hell the mansion CJ got never truly felt like his. I liked in VC how after killing Diaz it was renamed "Vercetti Estate". And in vice city I remember that it was kind of like a career progression, I mean like tommy fallen slowly coming back up, none of the missions were you know boring like in san andreas the countryside and san fierro missions were useless the ls and lv missions were terrific, I agree with you miami. Vice City also had the best intro .... 4 [ if i had played] would have been acesome! I remember in vice city a mission that after changing clothes at rafeal a man would come in a bike and leave for a break and I would go steal it and he would scream "No,My Bike!" At that time it sounded amusing...ahhh those were good times.

Yeah, the Doherty garage never changed but the focus shifted towards Wang Autos which is where the the cars they stole for the customer's wish list was placed. I know what you mean with the VC comparison, though. Tommy's assets feel a lot more like yours compared to SA but that's also what I like about SA more. In SA, your assets are spread out over a whole state instead of just one city and you actually have some people you are close to including Madd Dogg's mansion where you can just go and chill, while he raps to some cool beats or just work out inside the gym there. Whereas in VC, I really feel alone too much after the end. There are three bodyguards you get after 100%, then the rest of the gang just hang around the assets and some people who you are friends but not to the extent you might wish. (Umberto and so on) But the big time assets also makes VC my other favorite for storyline as you also feel like you're on top with some fancy assets that seems like it was worth the hard work. I just prefer SA because it feels more like a collective job and you have a lot of people you are close to such as Sweet, Kendl, Cesar, Woozie, Madd Dogg and so on. With Tommy, only Ken has that connection with you and even he gets kicked out of the empire by SA time. SA & VC are really the only storylines that have a real payoff. In IV, III or LCS, you don't really get anywhere aside from being paid a bunch of cash and having a few homes here and there (and getting rid of any threats you had). And in VCS, it no longer feels like you belong in the city after Vic says something about getting out of town after killing the enemies, plus the fact Rockstar f*cked up by announcing him as the Vance brother that dies in the VC intro.

San andreas had better story, charecters, map and missions just face the truth! | What "truth"? Maybe to you it was all of those things, but not to me. What's the point in having an opinion when fanboys basically tell someone to accept what is largely subjective as a truth? I've always had strong opinions about SA especially in regards the story which I find contorted, twisted and lacking most sense. It doesn't mean I hate the game, but I simply enjoyed VC more. What's the problem? FnB: Thankyou for replying to me in a respectful manner. I understand why you found SA's story to be more enjoyable.
