Do you always aim for 100% completion when you are playing GTA or do you prefer only doing things which you enjoy? Post your opinions.

I got 100% in Assassin's Creed II, and no other game.

I have been doing a GTA marathon (on Vice City now), and I intend on getting 100% in all of the games I play, however I may just do everything I want to do now and then go back finish everything else once I've completed all the games I have.

I don't consider it truly completed if just story is done, so I always made sure I completed it 100%. III, VC (twice), SA and IV that is, and I plan on completing V 100%.

Never. In all the years of being a GTA fan I've never got 100%. The only game I have ever got 100% in is LA Noire.

In III I gave up because of Gripped! and the Ambulance missions. I've gotten 100% in VC, SA, and IV, but it's not really all that rewarding. VC's double vehicle health was nice... but otherwise the rewards were minimal. SA's Hydra and Rhino spawn were almost useless because I played in San Fierro most of all and IV's infinite ammo was just... very disappointing.

I think the 100% reward some be something really special. Like a special game mode or something.

This is one of the reasons I don't bother. It's alot of hours wasted for little reward IMO.

not really i always get my gta games pretty late ost of the time i'll get one and a new one will be out so i'll pre-order v and try 100% on that

Never once did I get to 100% or try to. No GTA game really gave you anything good for 100%. GTA IV was the worst with 100% and then SA comes in at #2. I didn't understand why they gave us a jet and tank for 100%?? I mean I can just use a cheat and get them. Vice City you got a T-Shirt and 3 hired thugs. The thugs were ok but and T-Shirt was decent buy not for 100%. III I don't even remember unless it was for the health?? The only game I have 100% on is Red Dead and I only tried to get it when I had 90%.

Same here. I just feel like you don't get a good reward for putting in all that time to get 100%.

With every new GTA game I get the story completed first, then I start a new game and play it with 100% done after Final Mission

GTA IV was the first GTA game I ever did 100% for. I like to see 100% checklists as a somewhat guide for the side missions and stuff. It gives me something to do. Then after that I can do all the things you're allowed to repeat and continue to have fun.
