Mafia is made by 2K Czech, which is part of Take Two, and so is Rockstar, isn't this a exception in that case?

When you look past the fact that this probably isnt allowed, youve got a good idea! I remember reading that someone tried to convert the map into GTA Vice City, but I haven't heard from it since. Nonetheless, good luck!

This map totally deserves to be in a much better and powerful engine - plus conversions from Max Payne have been allowed here, so why not Mafia?

Actually it's a part of Take Two, as well as R*.

I don't really see a reason to disallow this mod, especially if you are dedicated. Looking forward to it.

Well, i never played Mafia 1 (only saw videos) but i played Mafia 2 and i kinda liked it (didn't finish it because i didn't like the shooting system, i got stuck in some missions...) Well, good luck on this

Like the idea of the mod.

Since Mafia is made by 2K, a subsidiary of Take Two, then I think this should be allowed. We have Max Payne conversions and I think we have RDR ones. Why not Mafia ones? Anyway, this isn't "ooh look car from Forza!", this is instead a whole map from Mafia I, and is special.

Well,Mafia is a 2002 games and i think its allowed

Agree with Triple Penetration, this map deserve to be on better engine. I can't even count how many hour i've spent playing Mafia. But seeing this is a conversion, no matter how old this games is, or it has the same publisher, still this kind of thing is illegal. It's up to the moderator.
