In GTA IV we all noted that Niko B. had a cell phone. A crappy one might I add. Now, once must wonder, will the Cell Phone be making a return in GTA V? What will it be? Perhaps a parody of the iPhone since that the newest in technology? What could we do with this phone? Their are so many things that come to mind when we think about all of this, what ringtones, wallpapers, themes, etc etc. So why not post what you think about the cell phone in GTA V. Will it be there? Will it not? What will come with the phone, same thing like GTA IV? Perhaps even a texting option?(Even though we all know R* is to stupid to implement that). What will the purpose be? It would be cool if you can receive messages, photos, and even sub-missions off of the cell phone.

Bottom line here: What do you think about the Cell Phone feature and GTA V?

As long as we could turn it off so no one can call us and ask us to go bowling I'm more than happy to have it back.

You could do that in GTA IV.

Here's a question, In the future say they made another flashback GTA set any time before the 90's, how would they work in the current system of using your phone as a secondary menu?

Seeings how this game is set in modern times, it seems only logical, however i must BEG R* to make it so that when your trying to do something on the phone, that the slightest bump wont completely wreck what you're trying to do

My thoughts on the phone:

1. You should have one from the start, a good one.
2. It should look like an iPhone and be called MYphone.
3. You should be able to upload music stored on your hard drive to a playlist on the phone that you can use as a radio alternative.
4. You should be able to take pictures in HD and save them direct to the PS3/Xbox/PC hard drive.
5. If anything is going to cost $100 for your phone (stupid, I know) it should be games from an app store, like tetris, cubed, pacman, or as a nice little easter egg, Lemmings (original R* game).

I think the cell phone will return with more features similar to smart phones. Maybe not from the start of the game but I'm sure that's what the protagonist will end up with.

True, it is annoying to loose a call only because Niko looses a little balance.

The I will find myself playing the app rather than completing the storyline. I think we should have the ability to buy new phones. I will certainly mod the cell phones and have myself a Samsung S3.

Not the actual game with missions and the display. It should be like the graphics in GTA1. Topdown if you ask me.
